Netherlands: Delta Lloyd group combines health insurance activities

Delta Lloyd group’s health insurance activities are being combined so as to take optimum advantage of the benefits of synergy between the current health insurance businesses.

Delta Lloyd group’s health insurance activities are being combined so as to take optimum advantage of the benefits of synergy between the current health insurance businesses. This will result in a reduction in the number of full-time jobs by just over 200 as from the end of 2007. The arrangements of the Delta Lloyd group redundancy plan will apply to the staff affected by this. This was announced today to staff of OHRA and Delta Lloyd Health by the management.

Delta Lloyd group has access to an extensive distribution network through the labels

Delta Lloyd, OHRA and ABN AMRO Insurance. The changes announced will enable the group on the one hand to create sufficient scope to make optimum use of this distribution strength and on the other hand to achieve greater efficiency and further cost reductions.

The goal is to have an improved health organisation operating independently by the end of 2007 which matches the client’s requirements even more closely.
