How we’re organised

Our businesses

We provide Insurance, Wealth and Retirement solutions to 18.7 million customers.

UK & Ireland Life (Insurance, Wealth & Retirement)

Aviva is the largest life insurer in the UK, holding a 20% share1 of the UK market. Our unique position in the market enables us to support over 11 million customers with products spanning Insurance, Wealth and Retirement.

More importantly than ever, we continue to help our customers protect themselves and their families. We help individuals save and achieve financial peace of mind either directly or through intermediaries. We provide corporate customers with de-risking solutions for their pension schemes and provide solutions to help promote wellbeing and health within their workforces.

Our financial strength gives customers and our investors certainty. We are well capitalised, and the breadth of the UK Life business and the wider Aviva Group gives us a significant capital advantage.

In Ireland our strategy is to transform and grow the business. We are currently fourth2 in the market and have an ambitious long-term target to become the market leading intermediary provider.
