Bristol woman, and RAC resource planner, Susanne Sheppard, has won the company’s national Sales and Service Ambassador Award for 2011.

Susanne of North Bristol - and a long-standing RAC colleague of 21 years - was presented with her award at this year’s RAC Ambassador Awards held at the Motor Heritage Museum, Gaydon in Warwickshire on 26 March.

She was chosen from a shortlist of 16 colleagues based on her commitment, pride and passion in everything she does to keep the RAC Contact Centre running, ensuring that it is appropriately staffed at all times.

Following the awards, Susanne said: “I am proud every day to be an RAC colleague and being named Sales and Service Ambassador for 2011 is the cherry on the cake!”

Angela Seymour-Jackson, RAC managing director, said: “Over the years Susanne has experienced many changes within the centre and has a huge amount of knowledge. She treats the business like it is her own. I am so pleased that she has won this award as it is rightly deserved.”

Each month RAC acknowledges sales colleagues on its “Wall of Honour” based on their passion for selling, delivering high standards of customer service, motivation and innovation. The winner of the Sales and Service Ambassador Award is chosen from those individuals who appear on the Wall of Honour during the course of the year.
