Romania: Aviva customers have access to two new online tools

Starting from April Aviva Romania is making two online communication tools available to its customers.

Starting from April Aviva Romania is making two online communication tools available to its customers:

  • The website www.pilonul2.ro/ by means of which Aviva Pensions customers can find information regarding their own private pension accounts, a record of their contributions (broken down for each contribution and employer), the unit value of the fund (also including a graph showing the growth in the unit price in the fund), as well as the financial instruments in which their money is invested. Access to private accounts is secure.
  • A new version of the www.aviva.ro/ website - easier to navigate and with a dynamic design. The new version of the www.aviva.ro/ website is part of the wider process of changing the company's identity on a global level, as a result of the strategic decision to bring all the entities together under one single name. Constructed so that users can rediscover on-line the already familiar image of Aviva's products and services, the new web site is answering the needs and requests of its customers. An Aviva financial adviser is just one click away, ready to offer free financial advice to all those interested. Whilst here, users can find useful information about life insurance products, pensions and investments, and the telephone numbers of the call centre which will provide answers to any queries that they might have.

Out of the desire to provide representatives of the media with quick access to the latest news about the company, the website hosts a section dedicated to this, a section which enables non-stop and direct communication.

In addition, the two dedicated formats of the newsletter provide useful information both to corporate clients and individual customers or to those who wish to find out more about Aviva and the insurance industry.

Other new features which the new www.aviva.ro/ web site offers to visitors are:

  • Easier on-site navigation - the web pages link to each other intuitively and coherently, making it easier for visitors to access the information they are looking for and locate it on the website;
  • Improved look - the new page format, as well as the new theme and design afford visitors a high-quality online experience;
  • Faster accessibility - visitors can access immediately the key subjects of interest, in terms of their personal needs, each section (life insurance, savings and pensions) having its own home page;
  • Dedicated sections and functionality - the new website includes printable versions of leaflets for all Aviva products, a rolling menu with direct access to the pages of greatest interest, a dictionary of financial terms and an interactive FAQs section.

"We conceived these two projects especially for Aviva Romania's existing and potential customers and partners, in order to provide them with comprehensive information in real time. Both websites accurately reflect the change of image which has taken place globally and are part of the Aviva Romania company's strategy to be closer to its customers and to communicate transparently," Shah Rouf, CEO of Aviva Romania, stated.

"Especially for Aviva Pensions customers the website www.pilonul2.ro/ will complement the information sent to them in their annual statements and will provide them with the assurance that they are investing in a stable company," Shah Rouf, CEO of Aviva Romania went on.

"Simple, efficient and secure, the www.aviva.ro/ website optimises access to information for those who are interested, providing them with a holistic experience at the global level, but also an individualised one in terms of being nationally specific," Shah Rouf, CEO of Aviva Romania, concluded.
