Czech Republic: Aviva now offers broadest property investment opportunities

As from today, Aviva Life Insurance is substantially broadening its range of investment programmes.

As from today, Aviva Life Insurance is substantially broadening its range of investment programmes. Clients can now choose from 12 programmes and have a greater opportunity to influence both the yield potential and the risk profile of invested funds. One innovation is the introduction of two property-oriented investment programmes, where clients can choose between different sectors of the property markets (residential or commercial property). Both programmes are offered in cooperation with the biggest property fund managers in Europe - Morley Fund Management.

"One of the biggest things in investing in property is the choosing a reliable partner with extensive experience in the sector," says Pavel Matoušek, General Manager of Aviva životní pojišťovna, as.

The company Morley Fund Management, part of the Aviva group, has won a number of prestigious awards in this field, eg CEE Investor of the Year 2005, Property Fund Manager of the Year 2006, and so on. The extended offer of investment programmes is designed to enable an attractive choice both to clients preferring traditional conservative values and also clients who are prepared to take a greater risk to increase the yield potential.

For clients who prefer an individual portfolio, Aviva offers the possibility for placement of investment life insurance funds in any combination in six so-called basic investment programmes, permitting up to 100% orientation on a single type of investment instruments (money market instruments, bonds, property or shares). For those who, on the contrary, prefer a pre-arranged solution, there are three new investment profile programmes - Conservative+, Combined+ and Dynamic+, whose composition matches general categories of investors according to their willingness to accept risk. All the new investment programmes are available from 1 March, not only within the framework of new contracts, but also without restriction for all existing clients who already have investment life insurance policies. New and existing clients have the opportunity after a certain period to transfer units or change allocation ratios free of charge.
