Aviva France, a major operator in life insurance and long-term savings, assets management and damages insurance, is expanding its offer of supplementary health insurance. After Santhia, Santhia Jeune and Santhia Senior, Aviva is launching Aviva Hospitalisation, a contract that guarantees all the costs linked to hospitalisation.

Claude Zouati, director of damage and health products of Aviva France, states: “Aviva Hospitalisation responds to two major expectations of our clients in the field of Health: the possible customisation of guarantees and the best quality/price ratio.

With this contract and its very attractive rate, Aviva now has a complete range of Health guarantees suited to all client profiles”.

A health complement that guarantees all the costs linked to hospitalisation

French people often think themselves to be well catered for in terms of their costs in the case of hospitalisation. However, certain expenses are not covered by the Social Security: extra fees, private room, daily fixed rate. These costs can amount to several hundred Euros.

Aviva Hospitalisation makes it possible to respond to this problem with guarantees, bonuses and specific services as follows:

  • The costs of the hospital stay, surgeon’s or anaesthetist’s fees, daily fixed rate, are reimbursed at real costs
  • In establishments owned by the Department of Health, the private room is provided for up to 150 €/day

Aviva is one of the only insurers on the market to offer a reimbursement at real costs in terms of hospitalisation on a contract of this range.

Optional packs to complete the Aviva Hospitalisation guarantee

Aviva gives the possibility to enrich their “Hospitalisation” contract with guarantees that are highly sought after by clients:

  • The “optical, dental and well-being” pack: optical fixed rate of 100€ for frames, lenses, contact lenses; dental fixed rate of 100€ for prostheses, orthodontics, implants, paradontology; well-being fixed rate (vaccines, dietary analysis, homeopathy, osteopathy actions, etiopathy, chiropractor, pedicure and podology)
  • The “Hospital assistance” pack which allows for the payment of an indemnity of 15€ per day as from the first day of hospitalisation in order to finance the related costs such as television, telephone, wi-fi, magazines etc

At a time when purchasing power is a real concern for French people, Aviva allows them to guarantee themselves for what appears to them to be the most important.

The advantages of the contract:

  • No medical questionnaire
  • An open subscription up to 80 years of age
  • A life-time guarantee

Services:

  • 24-hour assistance
  • Home delivery of urgent medication, the search for a duty doctor, ambulance etc
  • Assistance in the case of unforeseen hospitalisation or immobilisation of more than 5 days: home assistance up to 30 hours, animal boarding (dogs and cats), up to 30 days
  • Reimbursements within 48 working hours
  • Consultation of reimbursements and guarantees online on the health space at aviva.fr
