Spain: New members of the Aviva steering committee

Aviva Spain, the country's leading life insurance company, has appointed Alfonso Bujanda as head of the legal advisory service and a member of the steering committee.

Aviva Spain, the country's leading life insurance company, has appointed Alfonso Bujanda as head of the legal advisory service and a member of the steering committee.

Alfonso Bujanda graduated with a degree in law and has 11 years' experience in the insurance sector. He joined the Aviva group in 1999 and in 2009 he took charge of the legal department of Aviva Servicios Compartidos AIE.

Pedro Muñoz, actuarial director and head of products at Aviva Servicios Compartidos has also joined the steering committee. Pedro is an insurance actuary and has 20 years' experience in the insurance sector. He has held different positions at Aseval (an insurance company owned in equal 50% shares by Aviva and Bancaja) with technical and business development responsibilities.

These new members will help Aviva in Spain strengthen its structure. Ignacio Izquierdo, managing director of Aviva Spain has shown his satisfaction with the new appointments of Alfonso and Pedro to the steering committee. "Both appointments show a clear commitment to the recognition and professional development of our staff."
