- Dedicated support and assistance ensures that advisers are making the most of the Wealth Navigator service to further enhance client service and drive business.
The Hong Kong financial planning industry has experienced strong growth over the past 10 years and is poised for further growth owing to rising personal wealth, improved financial literacy and an ageing population. According to the Thought Leadership Industry Outlook Report published by the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong in July 2008, the local financial planning industry is expected to grow rapidly over the next few years.
“We are excited to be playing a lead role in the growth of the financial planning industry by providing IFAs in Hong Kong with a strategic partnership based on trust, simplicity and service quality. The wide range of products and service offerings available on the Wealth Navigator platform enables advisers to better manage and support their existing clients as well as to source and develop new relationships,” said Aviva Hong Kong’s managing director Simon Phipps at the launch event.
“Wealth Navigator is designed with simplicity in mind. The uncomplicated infrastructure minimises the amount of time advisers have to spend on menial administrative tasks and allows them to do what they do best: advising,” Mr Phipps added.
Wealth Navigator currently offers over 200* authorised unit trusts and mutual funds from 10* fund houses. Mr Phipps said Aviva will further expand the range of products and services available on the Wealth Navigator platform.
To mark the launch of Wealth Navigator in Hong Kong, Craig Bingham, Asia Pacific chief executive officer at Aviva Investors, shared his insights on the outlook for Asian markets.
Mr Bingham said: “We believe that Asia continues to offer attractive opportunities and we remain positive on our outlook for the region given the strong balance sheets of both Asian corporates and governments.”
“It is important to have a business strategy that drives sustainable profit growth. Through Wealth Navigator, IFAs can partner with us to build a business model that provides revenue in both bull and bear markets, in a hassle-free way.” Mr Phipps concluded.
