On 15 June life insurance provider Aviva životní pojišťovna launched a revamped version of Aviva EasyLife, its most popular product. It is now the only insurance product on the Czech market to offer a “Sudden Death” rider, ensuring comprehensive coverage for unexpected death.

Aviva has positioned itself for the long-term as a life insurer focusing on high-quality coverage. The changes introduced to Aviva EasyLife reinforce this position, with Aviva offering “just the ticket” for customers interested in very high-quality insurance protection.

“Accidents, heart attacks and strokes are the three most common causes of unexpected death. If we want to provide customers with really comprehensive cover, then it is only logical to add coverage for death due to heart attack or stroke to the standard accidental death rider,” explains Karel Veselý, general manager of Aviva životní pojišťovna.

Summary of new features in Aviva EasyLife:

  • New “Minor Accidents” and “Sudden Death” riders
  • New additional coverage option for full work incapacity – “Exemption from Payment of Insurance Premium in the Event of Full Work Incapacity” rider
  • Life insurance including all riders can be taken out up to the age of 65
  • Limited exclusions for accidents during participation in amateur sports
  • With the hospitalisation daily benefit rider you can now select a daily benefit of up to CZK 1000.
