Leading health insurer Hibernian Aviva Health has achieved another first after being awarded the internationally recognised information security accreditation ISO27001. Hibernian Aviva Health is the only health insurer to be awarded this accreditation, which is held by just 27 other companies in Ireland, and is an important part of the company’s commitment to looking out for consumer protection.

Leading health insurer Hibernian Aviva Health has achieved another first after being awarded the internationally recognised information security accreditation ISO27001. Hibernian Aviva Health is the only health insurer to be awarded this accreditation, which is held by just 27 other companies in Ireland, and is an important part of the company’s commitment to looking out for consumer protection.
The ISO 27001 recognises the highest standard of controls to address confidentiality, integrity and availability of information on customers and is the only auditable international standard defining requirements for an information security management system (ISMS). It recognises the excellent processes in Hibernian Aviva Health on safeguarding customer information.
