Aviva has today announced the appointment of Stuart Fechner to the newly created position of distribution development manager, investment products.
Aviva has today announced the appointment of Stuart Fechner to the newly created position of distribution development manager, investment products.
In this role, Stuart will be responsible for the promotion of investment products through training and educating distribution staff and financial advisers on Aviva's offering. In particular, Stuart will head up the distribution development of Aviva's up and coming Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) offering.
Richard Bellis, general manager distribution said that Stuart's extensive experience would help drive Aviva's investment products and in particular the SMA initiative.
"We believe that SMAs will be the new quantum leap in platform development, and Stuart's new position will help Aviva's investment offering to excel. He will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that will drive the uptake of Aviva's offering in the market," said Richard.
Stuart has been with Aviva for over nine years. Previous roles include national key account manager and management of Aviva Research for approximately six years.
