Poland: Third party insurance for one zloty with Commercial Union Direct

In October Commercial Union Direct will be offering its latest promotion for customers - the "Third party insurance for one zloty" scheme.

In October Commercial Union Direct will be offering its latest promotion for customers - the "Third party insurance for one zloty" scheme.

Any customer who buys the third party and comprehensive insurance package along with maximum breakdown cover from CU Direct between 1 and 31 October 2008 will only pay one zloty for their third party insurance. In exchange they will be obliged to buy their comprehensive insurance from CU Direct the following year as well. In return for this loyalty the customer will receive a 5% discount on their third party/comprehensive insurance package the following year, as well as a guarantee that they will pay no more for their comprehensive insurance in this second year than they did in the first year.

This promotion is aimed at people born between 1938 and 1977 who have not made a claim in at least three years and who receive a 60% no-claims discount on their third party and comprehensive insurance.

CU Direct reserves the right to refuse insurance within this promotion in the event that the policy holder or the vehicle represent a higher than average insurance risk.

Benefits of the offer
The CU Direct motor insurance includes the following elements: third party insurance, comprehensive motor insurance, breakdown assistance, accident insurance, windscreen insurance and legal protection insurance. The package has a range of modules - the customer selects the level of protection that best suits his or her needs.

From the viewpoint of customers, the most important characteristics of this package are:

  • the possibility of insuring the discounts you currently have or which you have earned (up to two claims over three years)
  • a two-year guarantee on work carried out at garages collaborating with CU Direct (over 360 garages across the country)
  • compensation which allows you to purchase a new vehicle in an authorised network of dealerships in the event of the loss of a car less than 12 months old
  • the amount of insurance is not reduced by the amount paid in compensation
  • a replacement car for the period of time when your car is being repaired, provided that these repairs are carried out in garages collaborating with CU Direct
  • a wide range of situations in which the insurer will provide towing services for the damaged vehicle and a replacement car as part of the breakdown assistance insurance (eg a replacement car outside Poland).
