On 20 October 2008 subscription will open for an Investment Policy drawn up by Bank Zachodni WBK together with BZWBK-CU Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie (Life Insurance Company).
The investment policy is a structured produce with complete, 100% protection of your capital, which allows you to safely save money for the future and also - in contrast to other deposit and investment products - to protect your tax advantages.
Customers who choose this product will be able to receive a 150% share in the profit from their investment. The investment strategy proposed by the bank and its insurance company is based on the BNP Paribas Platinum PLN ER index, which allows customers to make a profit both in times of growth and during times of turbulence on the stock market. It is able to operate in this way thanks to an investment strategy based on shares, goods, currencies and fluctuations on the stock market. The share of a particular asset in the portfolio is based on an advanced risk control mechanism which allows for a fast reaction even in rapidly changing conditions. The composition of the portfolio is subject to a weekly allocation, which allows for adaptation to the actual market situation and enables customers to take advantage of the chance to increase their savings whilst at the same time limiting possible losses.
"We offer customers a structured product which, apart from a return of their capital, allows them to reach an attractive rate of return, irrespective of the situation on individual markets. Structured products are now a permanent part of our offer. Next year there will definitely be something new," adds Krzysztof Jeske, head of sales of savings and investment products at BZWBK.
"A major benefit of this product is the life insurance policy which exempts customers from 19% capital gains tax. The policy is not subject to inheritance tax and tax on gifts," adds Paweł Zawisza, a member of the board of directors for sales and marketing at BZWBK-CU Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie.
Subscription for the product will be open from 20 October to 14 November and the investment period will be 3.5 years. The minimum amount of investment is 3,000 zlotys.
