Germany: Free occupational incapacity information package from Delta Lloyd

The Wiesbaden-based financial services provider Delta Lloyd has put together an extensive information package on occupational incapacity, giving brokers a great deal of information and sales support material to help them advise people on this complex issue.

One out of every four economically active people in Germany will suffer from occupational incapacity at some point before they retire. Even so, many people are still unaware of just how important it is to take out some form of cover against the risk of becoming unable to work. This is why Wiesbaden's financial services provider Delta Lloyd has put together an extensive information package on occupational incapacity, giving brokers a great deal of information and sales support material to help them advise people on this complex issue.

For a quick overview, the package starts with a brochure which summarises all of the essential information on the subject of occupational incapacity in Germany. Here you'll find details on statutory insurance cover, causes of occupational incapacity and an explanation of the most important terminology. It comes with a handy pocket-sized 218-page guide to occupational incapacity, detailing all of the essential background information.

To support brokers during talks with customers, a sales document has been developed to work in conjunction with the package, laying out, page by page, the central arguments in favour of taking out insurance cover against occupational incapacity and providing a good basis for consultation. In addition, there is an analysis sheet which can also be used during the interview to calculate the individual areas in which provision may be inadequate, and which is in turn supported by a disk calculator. A handy brochure for the customer to take away, information on benefit payments and tele-underwriting and an extensive set of questions and answers complete the package.

The Delta Lloyd occupational incapacity information package can be ordered by telephone on 0611 773 27 00 or by e-mail to kcv@deltalloyd.de.

Press representatives can request trial copies and images by ringing 0611 773 25 71 or by e-mail to presse@deltalloyd.de. We look forward to hearing from you!
