Together with the Medical Professions Advisory Board, Delta Lloyd has developed a bespoke liability insurance policy for vets. For the purposes of this a distinction is made between vets who are employed in the fields of:
- animals kept on leashes
- privately kept farm animals
- small pets
All three options include cover for loss of earnings and maintenance. The maintenance cover for veterinary surgeons amounts to €1,250,000 per claim and €2,500,000 per year insured. Different insured amounts for maintenance cover apply to the keeping of horses.
