Netherlands: Delta Lloyd increases medical limits

As of today life insurance company Delta Lloyd Levensverzekering NV has raised the medical limits for the risk of death and occupational incapacity. The medical limit for the risk of death for the age bracket from 18 to 55 inclusive has gone up from €160,000 to €300,000.

As of today life insurance company Delta Lloyd Levensverzekering NV has raised the medical limits for the risk of death and occupational incapacity. The medical limit for the risk of death for the age bracket from 18 to 55 inclusive has gone up from €160,000 to €300,000. For the risk of occupational incapacity the medical limits for the age bracket from 18 to 50 inclusive have been extended to €50,000.

With this increase Delta Lloyd has responded to customer wishes. A medical check-up will be required less often. This will make it quicker and easier to take out a life insurance policy.

The medical limit for the risk of death has gone up for the age bracket from 18 to 55 inclusive from €160,000 to €300,000. The age limit for taking out an insurance policy has been increased from 60 to 65. The table below provides a breakdown of the new medical limits for the risk of death:
