As part of the development of its overall range of personal provident insurance, Aviva is launching Aviva Vie Entière, a whole life insurance policy that guarantees the payment of a lump sum in case of death or total and irreversible loss of independence.

Aviva Vie Entière is a life insurance policy that provides for the payment of a lump sum to the beneficiary in case of the death of the insured (regardless of the date) and the payment of a lump sum to the insured in case of total and irreversible loss of independence occurring before the age of 65.

This policy offers the following advantages:

  • The client chooses the amount of the lump sum, the frequency and duration of his premium payments (up to the age of 65, 70, 75, 80 or 85).
  • Once he has paid his premiums the client is insured "free of charge" until the end of his life.
  • Access to savings. The premiums are not paid into an irrecoverable fund: at any time the holder of an Aviva Vie Entière policy can surrender his policy up to the total amount of savings available for his policy.

The policyholder can also take out two optional covers:

  • Guarantee of exemption from premiums: in case of temporary total incapacity or permanent disablement of the insured, Aviva will exempt the policyholder from payment of the premiums, in full or in part.
  • Adjustment of covers: on each anniversary date of taking out the insurance, the death benefit/payment for total and irreversible loss of independence is adjusted upwards in line with the index based on the economic situation, along with the premiums. This option enables the policyholder to increase the sum insured.
