Elżbieta Wójcik has become vice-chair of the board of Commercial Union Poland - General Insurance Company SA. She has taken over responsibility from Brian Richards for the activity and the development of Commercial Union Direct.
New campaign
Today marks the beginning of a new Commercial Union Direct television advertising campaign. The cycle of television adverts in a characteristic mode draws attention to various aspects of safety and driving habits on the road. The humorous transmissions are accompanied by the slogan, "We are drivers too". An expert in safe driving, Kuba Bielak, appears in the new adverts; he is the announcer for "Polish Driving" on TVN Turbo. The set was prepared by the Leo Burnett agency; the Starcom media house planned the media campaign.
Appointment

Chief advantages of the CU Direct offering
The following are included in the package of travel insurance offered by CU Direct since December 2007: third-party liability insurance, comprehensive motor insurance, breakdown assistance, accident insurance, windscreen insurance and legal protection insurance. The package works in modules - the customer selects the level of protection that best suits his or her needs. From the viewpoint of customers, the most important characteristics of this package are:
- The possibility of insuring the discounts you currently have or which you have earned (up to two claims over three years)
- A two-year guarantee on work carried out at garages collaborating with CU Direct
- Compensation which allows you to purchase a new vehicle in an authorised network of dealerships in the event of the loss of a car less than 12 months old
- The amount of insurance is not reduced by the amount paid in compensation
- A replacement car for the period of time when your car is being repaired, provided that these repairs are carried out in garages collaborating with CU Direct
- A wide range of situations in which the insurer will provide towing services for the damaged vehicle and a replacement car as part of the breakdown assistance insurance (eg a replacement car outside Poland).
Sales and customer service are performed through a telephone centre, reachable at 0-801 28 28 28 and through the Internet at www.cudirect.pl.
