Nizhny Novgorod is the fifth city in which Aviva has opened a branch. The aim of the regional development strategy is to make Aviva's long-term permanent life insurance programmes available to all those living in the Russian Federation. By 2010 Aviva plans to open offices in over 40 Russian cities. The opening of an Aviva office in Nizhny Novgorod is an important step on the road to implementing this strategy.
