Sodra has deposited 29 million litai in the pension fund of the private limited company Aviva Lithuania, a life insurance and pension company.
Aviva Lithuania, having received from Sodra the citizens' social insurance payment dividend for the fourth quarter of 2007, has paid it into the clients' personal pension fund accounts and has begun the investment process. Of the money received, 20.7 million litai has been invested in the Europension Plus fund, another 5.9 million litai in the Europension fund, and 2.4 million in the Europension Extra fund. The Aviva Lithuania pension fund's assets grew 9.6% on receipt of the new deposit and they currently amount to 208.2 million litai. Compared to the third quarter of 2007, the deposit received from Sodra in the fourth quarter had increased by 5.1%.
