RAC Services has brought to life the true cost of managing an accident through the development of a brand new DVD and microsite.
Aimed at fleet managers, the new and interactive tools have been designed to communicate the benefits of outsourcing accident management using the very latest technology.
The high definition nine minute DVD has the look and feel of a short film and features a mix of professional actors and RAC Services staff, based at the company's head office in Stretford.
Shot in Manchester over a two-day period, the viewer is taken through the different stages of an accident, from the initial crash to recovery, repairs, replacement vehicle and account management.
To support the film and assist RAC Services to reach potential customers, an interactive microsite has also been developed which takes fleet managers through the entire accident management process using film footage accompanied by step by step advice.
Fleet managers can also download a presentation in order to pull together a business case and obtain a fact sheet detailing all the services available, from management information and legal services to inspections and salvage disposal.
John Lawrence, director of service delivery, RAC Services, said: "Through the DVD and microsite we can clearly articulate to new and existing customers how RAC Services operates and the value our offer can add to their business.
"As some of the DVD was shot in our call centre in Stretford, it will also give potential customers a really good insight into our operation and the team behind the scenes.
"Accident management can be an area of uncertainty for fleet managers. However, with the use of both the DVD and microsite, we are certain that the benefits and expertise of RAC Services will be brought to life."
Film director, Nathan Camponi of chief productions, who produced the DVD, said: "We wanted to produce a film that not only reflected the production value of RAC's TV ad campaign, but also had stand out from other corporate films."
