France: La Paix strengthens its position as pioneer of an innovative approach to managing legal and tax protection

La Paix, a subsidiary of Aviva France specialising in legal and tax protection insurance, announces the creation of a fourth division specialising in damage-only accidents. This strengthens La Paix's position as the pioneer of a new approach to management centred on paperless communication and the use of the telephone as the main negotiating tool.

La Paix first took the initiative in this area with the launch of "Résolution Express", a management system designed to speed up the resolution of disputes. On the strength of its good results in terms of both resolution periods (under six weeks) and quality of service (a 98% success rate for out-of-court settlements), La Paix has decided to set up a new division.

By creating the "Résolution Express" system and the "Damage-only accident" division, La Paix hopes to speed up the settlement of its claims significantly, thus improving customer satisfaction.

Specialising in damage-only accidents, this division will support the existing three divisions, "Accidental bodily injury", "Property" and "Consumer". This division will only handle disputes relating to damage-only accidents, using paperless communication where possible: telephone, e-mail, fax or text message. These tools enable significant time-savings to be made, thereby reducing the amount of paper documents sent. The follow-up procedures for such cases will also be quicker and a new management dynamic will be implemented.
