Hollyoaks star, Roxanne McKee will set pulses racing at the fifth round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Oulton Park on Sunday 24 June when she becomes a celebrity grid girl for Team RAC drivers Colin Turkington and Tom Onslow-Cole.
The actress, who plays Louise Summers in the Chester-based drama, will be adding a touch of glamour to the grid as Team RAC set their sights on another victory.
Last month Roxanne won the British Soap Award for "Sexiest Female" and she has also been named as one of the world's sexiest women by FHM magazine for two years running.
Roxanne's debut as a grid girl marks the latest stage of the "RAC to the rescue" campaign, which provides benefits to enhance the race day experience of fans at every round of the British Touring Car Championship.
Roxanne McKee said: "As a big motorsport fan, I am really looking forward to going to Oulton Park and getting out on the grid for Team RAC. The drivers have made a good start to the season, so hopefully I can bring them some extra luck at my local circuit."
Colin Turkington added: "Grid girls are one of the traditions of motor racing and play an important part in entertaining the crowd, so it's great to have someone as well known as Roxanne on board for Oulton Park. I'm sure she'll get a terrific reception from the fans."
Alastair Pegg, RAC director of marketing, said: "RAC is always looking to enhance the race day experience for supporters and I'm sure the fans will welcome such a glamourous addition to the grid.
"RAC have many exciting initiatives planned for the remaining rounds in 2007 so supporters should log onto teamrac.co.uk, look out in the media and at the rounds themselves during the season for details of our activity and how they can take part."
