La Paix, the subsidiary of Aviva France that specialises in legal and tax protection, announces the renewal of its ISO 9001 (version 2000) certification for 2007. This sees La Paix celebrate 10 years of ISO 9001 certification - testimony to the quality of service delivered to its clients.
In January 2006, the French Quality Assurance Association (AFAQ) renewed this certification for a period of three years. However, each year, AFAQ carries out a thorough check of compliance with La Paix's service quality commitments. The results obtained a year later were confirmed by the follow-up audit performed last December.
This certification guarantees the efficiency of La Paix's operations, ensuring that the client is the company's central focus. A powerful driving force for the continuous improvement of its services, the company's Quality policy remains a priority for 2007.
From 1995 to 1997, the management and employees of La Paix worked hard to define and implement a Quality policy that reflected the expectations of their clients. After those two years, La Paix's whole management was officially certified ISO 9002 compliant by AFAQ. This certification secured La Paix a position among the leading legal and tax protection insurers.
In 2000, in response to changing customer demands, AFAQ improved and extended the ISO 9002 standard, which subsequently became ISO 9001 (version 2000). La Paix naturally adapted to these new requirements and was awarded the new certification on 17 December 2002. Since then, its Quality approach is no longer limited to litigation management, but has been rolled out to all of La Paix's services, including the areas of administration, trade, law and training.
