Netherlands: Delta Lloyd strengthens position in commercial insurance market

Delta Lloyd Schadeverzekering NV and the board of Eurolloyd Nederland BV/Eurolloyd België NV have agreed that as from 1 January 2007, Delta Lloyd will take over the shares of the Eurolloyd companies.

Delta Lloyd Schadeverzekering NV and the board of Eurolloyd Nederland BV/Eurolloyd België NV have agreed that as from 1 January 2007, Delta Lloyd will take over the shares of the Eurolloyd companies. In doing so, Delta Lloyd is accelerating the implementation of its strategy of strengthening its position in the commercial insurance market.

This transaction is subject to any approval which may be required from the relevant supervisory and consultative bodies.
