UK: Diffiniti appointed as new digital media agency for Norwich Union and RAC

Norwich Union and RAC are pleased to announce today that Diffiniti has been selected as their new agency to handle the digital media account for both businesses.

Norwich Union (NU) and RAC are pleased to announce today that Diffiniti has been selected as their new agency to handle the digital media account for both businesses.

Diffiniti, one of a final shortlist of four agencies, won the account – worth Ł20 million in 2006 - following a rigorous pitch and interview process.

Diffiniti will begin working on the account from 1st April, following successful transition from incumbent agencies Harvest Digital and All Response Media.

The decision was taken to consolidate activity within a single agency to optimise media efficiencies and to help drive the digital media strategy for both NU and RAC. Among the key reasons for selection was Diffiniti’s knowledge of the digital media market and their ability to work across NU’s and RAC’s diverse portfolio of products and services.

Colin Webb, director of NU General Insurance marketing, said Diffiniti clearly understood the key challenges facing both NU and RAC.

"Diffiniti’s team were passionate and knowledgeable, and we have confidence in their ability to manage the entire digital media mix effectively," he said.

Diffiniti managing director Robert Horler, added: "We are delighted to have won such a challenging and significant contract and are looking forward very much to working with Norwich Union and RAC."

The contract runs for two years subject to review.
