Czech Republic: Aviva Insurance has a new commercial manager

Dr Karel Vesely became the new commercial manager of Aviva zivotni pojistovna, as in autumn 2005.

Dr Karel Veselý became the new commercial manager of Aviva životní pojišťovna, as in autumn 2005. A graduate of the faculty of mathematics and physics of Charles University, Prague, he has been working in the company since 1997, when Aviva životní pojišťovna as entered the Czech market. He gained experience in several departments and for the past two years he has been a member of Aviva's supervisory board. During his five years as chief actuary at Aviva, he also took part in commercial operations, negotiations and cooperation with corporate clients, for example Ernst & Young.
