Delta Lloyd’s new commercial can be seen on all Dutch television channels from Thursday 1 September. The new spot follows on from Delta Lloyd’s previous TV adverts: people in unusual situations who feel safe despite everything. This time the main characters are a person clearing up, a crocodile, a duck and a little yellow truck.
Three tag-ons
The TV commercial relates to Delta Lloyd’s healthcare and absenteeism covers. Three different tag-ons have been developed aimed at employers, business people and private individuals. The commercial focuses on the healthcare guarantees Delta Lloyd offers its clients such as a reintegration plan within two weeks, trauma care within four hours and physiotherapy within two days. A major part of the campaign is a special campaign website www.zorggarantie.nl which can be accessed from 22 September. On the site you can find out what guarantees Delta Lloyd has to offer. As well as television, the messages are also communicated via all sorts of other media.
The music of Buddy Holly (Everyday) is used in the commercial. A special ringtone has been developed for anyone who wishes to hear this very catchy little tune more often. This can be downloaded from www.deltalloyd.nl.
Result of Hacker commercial
In the period during which Delta Lloyd’s previous commercial, the Hacker, was broadcast, both spontaneous and prompted brand recognition among the target group of small and medium-sized enterprises rose from ninth and seventh place respectively to fourth place. The aim is to achieve a top three position for brand recognition among small and medium-sized enterprises.
Background to Delta Lloyd commercials
With TV commercials such as Figure-skater, Bumper Car, Parade and Booming Car, Delta Lloyd has built up an image of an insurer for confident, modern people. With the Hackers this spring, Delta Lloyd has embarked upon another path. By using one or more tag-ons – short extra clips after the main commercial – it is possible to address the specific target groups for Delta Lloyd.
