Delta Lloyd Verzekeringen’s new commercial can be seen on all Dutch television channels from Monday 4 April. Like its predecessors, the TV commercial shows confident people who consciously take risks because they know that they are well insured.
A new feature is the ‘tag on’ in which a specific product is highlighted within the same block of advertising. The TV commercial is part of a new, broad-based advertising campaign by which the company intends to give its brand more substance and which is directed more at the commercial market.
With TV commercials such as Figure Skater, Bumper Car, Parade and Booming Car, Delta Lloyd has built up the image of an insurer for confident, modern people. The TV advertising has generated a huge leap forward in familiarity with the name and given the brand a new lease of life.
The company is now embarking on the next phase and wants to give the brand more substance. The new message is aimed more at business people and has more in-depth content. The company wants to show that it is not just reliable and professional, but also alert and ready to support its clients when it matters.
From this spring, as well as on television, this message will also be communicated via all kinds of other media. Advertisements will appear in journals read by business clients, such as specialist journals, trade and association journals. The message will also be heard on the radio, on regional stations and stations such as Business Nieuws Radio, which is listened to by many business people.
The company also attends network meetings of MKB Nederland, sponsors business cafés and advertises on websites visited by business people. In short, business people will soon come across Delta Lloyd Verzekeringen wherever they go.’
