Norwich Union has launched a guide to the professional risks sector to share its expertise across a huge range of professions with brokers and intermediaries.
Designed as a series of mini-guides to help brokers identify new business opportunities through understanding diverse professional sectors, it provides a market overview of a range of risks, including professional indemnity, directors and officers liability, employee dishonesty, latent defects, bonds and contingency products.
Matt Frost, product manager at Norwich Union, explains: "The number of people seeking professional advice and services is on the increase. As people become more aware of their legal rights and less tolerant of poor service, they will seek to hold their advisers accountable if something goes wrong – meaning professionals are vulnerable to being sued for professional negligence.
"The guide gives intermediaries an insight to market forces that affect their customers and explores opportunities to cross-sell or move into new markets."
"Norwich Union has a specialist team of industry experts and a large network of underwriters experienced in a wide range of professional risks. All customers can access Norwich Union’s risk helpline, legal and tax helpline and preferred suppliers.
