Scott Daubeny has been promoted to Manager Victoria and Tasmania for Aviva Australia’s life insurance and investment administration businesses, in addition to his existing State responsibilities for Navigator.
Scott Daubeny has been promoted to Manager Victoria and Tasmania for Aviva Australia’s life insurance and investment administration businesses, in addition to his existing State responsibilities for Navigator.
The promotion follows Aviva Australia’s decision to introduce a streamlined national distribution structure. For Aviva in Victoria and Tasmania, this restructure is designed to further enhance the support its experienced team provides to the financial planning network throughout the two States.
Scott joined Aviva in 1994 in a marketing support role for Navigator. Since then he has seen Navigator grow from $600 million and 6,000 clients to $8 billion and 80,000 clients.
He was promoted to Business Development Manager, which gave him responsibility for the promotion of Navigator to financial advisers and accountants in both Victoria and Tasmania. He took on the State Manager (Navigator) role in 2002 and, as at 1 October 2003, has become State Manager Victoria and Tasmania for both Aviva and Navigator.
Scott has worked in the financial services industry for almost 15 years. He is currently completing a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).
Norwich Union Australia adopted the global Aviva brand for its business from 1 October. Aviva Australia’s investment administration business will continue to use the well-recognised Navigator brand.
