Those at present covered by ‘NUTS, the national health cover for Delta Lloyd and OHRA’ will then continue to be insured under the Delta Lloyd or OHRA label. The terms of insurance and premiums remain unchanged. This move fits into the Delta Lloyd Group’s strategy of bringing all its activities together under one of its three strong labels: Delta Lloyd for insurances via an independent insurance intermediary, ABN AMRO Verzekeringen for the banking channel and OHRA directly to the consumer.

The combination of national health cover and private health insurance under a single label, Delta Lloyd or OHRA, has more advantages. For example, it is easier to switch from private insurance to national health cover and vice versa within the same label.

In addition, employers are able to offer all employees, whether insured privately or through the national health, insurance via a single package or label. What is more, the national health cover can draw benefit from the national brand recognition of Delta Lloyd and OHRA.

As from 15 September, those currently covered by NUTS national health cover will be insured under the same label as now carries all their supplementary insurance. Those without supplementary insurance will be allocated on the basis of how they apply to the national health scheme - OHRA for those who apply directly and Delta Lloyd for applications via an intermediary.

The name change operation has no consequences for staff. The Delta Lloyd and OHRA national health insurance scheme remains based in The Hague.
