Philip’s name was entered in a free prize draw when he asked the insurer for a free quotation to cover his van – and collected a cool £10,000.
Philip said: "I am totally dependent on my van to run the business so was looking for an insurance policy that will keep me on the road and won’t let me, or my customers, down.
"We set up the FiltaFry franchise in the West Yorkshire area in March this year and have already attracted clients such as KFC, Asda and Burger King.
"I am absolutely delighted by the win. We are going to put the money straight back into the business. This huge cash injection means that we will be able to build up the company much faster than we’d originally planned."
