Netherlands: Delta Lloyd’s revamped Financial Freedom Plan offers intermediaries freedom of choice on commission plus online convenience

From 18 June, Delta Lloyd is introducing a revamped Financial Freedom Plan known as FVP. The two most important updates involve the commission arrangements and fast quotations and proposals via the Delta Lloyd Digital Domain (DDD).

The updated FVP offers an intermediary more freedom of choice on commission from a five-way combination. These combinations tie in well with the flexibility of the Financial Freedom Plan. Besides this, proposals and quotations now happen faster and more conveniently via the Delta Lloyd Digital Domain (DDD).

With the revamped arrangements, an intermediary can choose from five commission versions – combinations of basic and renewal commission. For each policy they can opt for one of the five variations.

"Signals were coming from the market that intermediaries would like to have a choice between basic and renewal commission," said Erica Blom, marketing director. "With the modified commission scheme Delta Lloyd is going along with this."

But there are more developments going on around the Financial Freedom Plan. Delta Lloyd has also developed quotation software, which is characterised by a high level of user friendliness.

From 23 June, agents are being informed of the new product via a direct marketing campaign.
