98% of ABN AMRO staff has chosen for Delta Lloyd
The joint venture between Delta Lloyd and ABN AMRO Insurances announced in November 2002, was officially established today by Paul Medendorp (executive board, Delta Lloyd Group) and Floris Deckers (chairman business unit Netherlands, ABN AMRO).
After it had become clear that 98% of the employees in ABN AMRO Insurances had chosen for the transfer to Delta Lloyd, competition authorities and regulators such as the Dutch Central Bank, the Pensions and Insurance Supervisory Authority and the European Commission approved the intended joint venture last week.
Now that the preparations for the joint venture have been concluded, Delta Lloyd is in a position to offer a high-quality range of insurances under the name of ABN AMRO Insurances via the Dutch ABN AMRO network under the ABN AMRO label.
