NZI, one of the country’s leading insurance companies, has a new logo.
It is the result of NZI’s parent company changing its name from CGNU to Aviva plc and the need to provide a consistent brand for the numerous Aviva companies operating around the world.
According to Mike Hannan, NZI chief executive, NZI is one of the few Aviva companies worldwide that has been encouraged to retain a local identity.
“Aviva realises that NZI has a very strong heritage in this country. We’re a local company managed by Kiwis. This allows us to innovate and respond to market conditions.
“At the same time the new logo highlights we are part of a leading global financial service group which provides our customers with peace of mind because of the additional financial stability and security it brings.”
The new logo will start to appear on NZI offices from late September 2002.
NZI’s former logo had been in existence since the 1980’s.
Editors note:
- Aviva is the world’s seventh largest insurance group and the largest insurer in the United Kingdom (under the Norwich Union brand)
