Australia: Internet lodgement on Super Solutions

Norwich Union today announced the introduction of a new web-based electronic submission system for the Super Solutions Employer Plan.

Norwich Union today announced the introduction of a new web-based electronic submission system for the Super Solutions Employer Plan.

Called, E-applications, the system gives advisers the ability to submit all Super Solutions Employer Plan applications through the adviser only web site – www.solutions.norwich- union.com.au

This new facility is easy for advisers to understand and follow and eliminates a lot of the paper work while reducing the possibility of establishment errors. The system assists advisers to complete the application process with regular prompts and warnings.

Allan Griffiths, managing director Norwich Union Life, said the new system complemented Norwich Union’s strong web-based processes and significantly simplified administration for advisers.

“The introduction of E-applications has many benefits. It speeds up the administration for the adviser and ensures the superannuation plan details are available at the touch of a button,” said Allan.

The new electronic system is also complemented by a number of product enhancements for Super Solutions.

Seven new investment choices have been added to the product range, expanding the number of options that can be selected to 45. Options are sourced from UBS, JB Were, AXA, AMP and Challenger.

Members will also have access to a socially responsible investment category that invests in a portfolio of assets which meet certain financial criteria as well as considering additional concerns such as working conditions, human rights and social impacts.

“Super Solutions is a product that has been specifically designed to suit customers and Financial Advisers. For customers, we have a financial product that provides for their financial future. For advisers, we have created a state-of- the-art product that cuts down their time consuming administration processes,” said Allan.
