Norwich Union's specialist property owners' teams have joined forces in a dedicated unit at the company's Fenchurch Street offices in London.

Demonstrating the insurer's commitment to the property owners' market, the 30-strong team will focus on underwriting business for commercial property owners, managing agents, pension fund portfolios and other clients. They will be supported by dedicated products, systems and claims handling operations.

The new unit will result in real benefits for brokers and customers. David Cooper, manager of Norwich Union's property owners' team commented; "Brokers will benefit from a specialist operation with tremendous depth of experience and expertise. The combined team will also give an enhanced service, with brokers being allocated dedicated staff with specialist knowledge of the market to manage their accounts.
