Before focusing on the Spanish Football Selection, Torres took part in an event attended by children between eight and 14 years of age from all over Spain.
At an event run by the Aviva insurance group this morning, Fernando Torres coached a group of budding footballers between eight and 14 years of age, who were all very excited to meet the Spanish footballer. Torres then proceeded to focus on the Spanish Football Selection.
The footballer greatly appreciated the warm welcome he received from the young footballers taking part in the master class organised by Aviva, who had come from all over Spain. "Experiencing the excitement of these youngsters first hand gives one great faith in the future."
Ignacio Izquierdo, CEO of Aviva Spain, said: "Torres shares two of Aviva's main attributes, leadership and internationality, which have enabled us to become the large family that we are, with over two million customers in Spain."
Furthermore, Izquierdo pointed out that: "Torres is a prime example of stability and professionalism. Many youngsters who aspire to be successful whilst keeping their feet on the ground look up to him, for preparing oneself for the future and having adequate protection is just as important as playing well."
Aviva is currently the only company in Spain exclusively specialising in life insurance and pensions. Izquierdo claims that this high level of specialisation "enables us to offer highly personalised products which are perfectly tailored to the individual needs of every customer."
