CIMB Aviva Malaysia today announced the appointment of new CEOs for its Life Insurance and Takaful companies - Kevin Jones as the CEO of CIMB Aviva Assurance Berhad (CAAB) and Muhammad Fikri Mohamad Rawi as the CEO of CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad (CATB).
CIMB Aviva Malaysia today announced the appointment of new CEOs for its Life Insurance and Takaful companies - Kevin Jones as the CEO of CIMB Aviva Assurance Berhad (CAAB) and Muhammad Fikri Mohamad Rawi as the CEO of CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad (CATB).
Kevin Jones, who held the position of chief operating officer since joining CAAB in August last year, brings with him more than 20 years of experience from various senior positions at global insurance conglomerates. He has a track record of delivering profitable growth internationally via a range of traditional and alternative distribution channels.
Prior to joining CAAB, Jones was the managing director of Aviva Singapore where he oversaw the Singapore businesses including the bancassurance business, wholesale partnership relations, as well as their team of financial advisers, insurance brokers and direct agents.
Muhammad Fikri Mohamad Rawi has been with CAAB since 2006 where he was instrumental in ensuring the smooth completion of the joint venture between CIMB Group and Aviva Plc to form CAAB and CATB in July 2007.
Fikri has more than 15 years of experience in the insurance and financial industries. He brings with him extensive expertise in the areas of banking, capital management, risk management, finance and insurance, having held various senior positions in one of Malaysia's leading financial services groups, Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings Berhad.
