Malaysia: EasyLife promoted at financial awareness event

CIMB Aviva recently participated in the Financial Awareness Week 2008 held in Johor state of Malaysia, by sponsoring the daily "Financial Hunt" contest and being a main exhibitor.

The week-long event included a three-day exhibition in which 62 exhibitors from the financial industry, government bodies and agencies took part.

The Honourable Dato' Shahrir Samad, Malaysia's minister of domestic trade and consumer affairs, launched the event which attracted 23,000 potential customers.

Visitors attended financial talks and exhibition booths to gain financial planning advice, at a time when many Malaysians are uncertain about the future and in need of support and advice from leading financial service providers.

The event coincided with the launching of EasyLife solutions, a series of new bancassurance products developed by CIMB Aviva for CIMB Bank. The EasyLife range has gained almost 1,000 applications in its first few weeks on the market, with sales volumes increasing on a daily basis.

CIMB Aviva took the opportunity to promote the new range which consist of four investment-linked products - EasyLife Retirement, EasyLife Kids', EasyLife Men's and Women's plans plus a stand-alone protection plan - EasyLife Money Back Plan.
