This week saw an Easter market being held at the head office of Aviva, the life insurance company. Employees had the opportunity to buy products made in the sheltered workshops run by DUHA - the Rainbow Association.
The market follows on from Aviva's co-operation last year with DUHA, a civic association supporting the integration of people with mental disabilities.
Magdaléna Borová, an actress who performs at the Czech National Theatre, was also amongst those who came to look through the interesting range of products, which were not limited to the theme of Easter. Magdalena won the "Talent of the Year" prize in 2004 at the Alfréd Radok Awards for achievements in Czech theatre and you can currently see her in the stage adaptation of "Babička" or "The Grandmother", Božena Němcová's classic tale of Czech literature, which is on at the National Theatre in Prague. Magdaléna is playing Barunka, the eldest and principal of the grandchildren.
