Ebru Arslan Aymen has been brought in as director of human resources at AvivaSA, the product of a merger between AK Emeklilik and Aviva Hayat ve Emeklilik, while Nihat Ünalacak has been appointed assistant managing director at Aviva plc.
Ebru Arslan Aymen has been brought in as director of human resources at AvivaSA, the product of a merger between AK Emeklilik and Aviva Hayat ve Emeklilik, while Nihat Ünalacak has been appointed assistant managing director at Aviva plc.
As of 1 November 2007, Ebru Arslan Aymen has been appointed human resources director of AvivaSA. Aymen, who started her career at the Hotel Conrad İstanbul, has served as human resources manager at 3M and HR director and international management development programme consultant at Boehringer Ingelheim Asya. Ebru Arslan Aymen graduated from the Philosophy department and the Tourism and Hotel Management department of Boğaziçi University. Aymen, with her 14 years of HR experience, has completed domestic and overseas coaching and consultancy certificate programmes in this field devoted to Leadership, Personal Development and Cultural Change.
As for A Nihat Ünalacak, who since 2003 has served as assistant managing director with responsibility for Information Systems and Business Development at Aviva Hayat ve Emeklilik, he has been appointed assistant managing director at Aviva plc. Ünalacak, who as of 1 November 2007 will serve as assistant managing director with responsibility for IT Administration and Risks at London-based Aviva Europe, first embarked on his professional life as a systems analyst with Koç Holding. Ünalacak worked as a senior manager in the information technology departments of Ciba Geigy AŞ, Inchcape Retrans and Turknet. Ünalacak completed a degree course in the Computer Engineering department of Boğaziçi University and a masters course in the Management Faculty of Istanbul University. Born in 1966, Ünalacak is married with one child.
