Andrew Moss has been appointed to the supervisory board of Delta Lloyd NV.
Mr Moss was nominated by the shareholder Aviva plc of London to succeed Richard Harvey. Mr Harvey had been a supervisory board member since 2000 and resigned because he went into retirement as chief executive officer of Aviva on 11 July 2007.
Andrew Moss had been Aviva's chief financial officer since 2004 and was appointed to succeed Richard Harvey as chief executive officer on 11 July. After studying law at Oxford, Mr Moss qualified as a chartered accountant. He then worked in various executive financial management positions in the banking and insurance sector before joining Aviva.
Peter Appeldoorn resigned from the Delta Lloyd supervisory board with effect from the same date as his membership term ended. Mr Appeldoorn had been a supervisory board member since 1999.
