Morley Fund Management, one of the UK’s largest fund managers, has appointed Glen Prentice as a fund manager to its emerging markets and Asia Pacific equities team. Glen will be responsible for managing emerging European equities in both life and retail funds and will report to the head of emerging markets & Asian equities Niall Paul.
Morley Fund Management, one of the UK’s largest fund managers, has appointed Glen Prentice as a fund manager to its emerging markets and Asia Pacific equities team. Glen will be responsible for managing emerging European equities in both life and retail funds and will report to the head of emerging markets & Asian equities Niall Paul.
Glen joins Morley this month from JPMorgan Cazenove, where he was an equities analyst covering the oil and gas sector. He brings to Morley an excellent balance of buy and sell-side experience. Prior to JPMorgan Cazenove, he worked at West LB Asset Management as a fund manager on their Eastern European Convergence Fund before moving on to become an oil analyst at ING Financial Markets.
Of Morley’s Ł134 billion assets under management, it manages Ł48.5 billion in equity assets (as at 30.6.2005) and the Emerging Markets & Asian Equities team manages Ł2.5bn billion (as at 30.6.2005).

Earlier this year, the Aviva Funds - Emerging Countries Equity Fund won the Lipper Fund Award in Singapore for best equity emerging markets global fund over both one and five years.
