Delta Lloyd Group has decided to further strengthen the common foundation of the various group units as shown by the appointment of new chairmen of the three main insurance operations of Delta Lloyd Group, under the Delta Lloyd, OHRA and ABN AMRO Insurance labels. The appointments in fact involve a rotation of the divisional chairmen among the three brands that Delta Lloyd Group operates in the Netherlands.

The appointments in fact involve a rotation of the divisional chairmen among the three brands that Delta Lloyd Group operates in the Netherlands.
Freek van Leeuwen, chairman and CEO of ABN AMRO Insurance, will retire at the end of this year upon reaching the age of 60. Since Delta Lloyd Group established a joint venture with ABN AMRO Insurance in 2003, Freek van Leeuwen has led the smooth integration of ABN AMRO Insurance into the Delta Lloyd Group and the successful relationship with ABN AMRO Bank Netherlands.
The Supervisory Board of Delta Lloyd ABN AMRO Insurance has appointed Henk Rau (54) as the new chairman and CEO of ABN AMRO Insurance as of 1 December 2005. Henk Rau is currently chairman of Delta Lloyd Insurance NV, which operates the intermediate insurance activities of Delta Lloyd Group in the Netherlands.
Frank Blankers (48) has been appointed to succeed Henk Rau as chairman of Delta Lloyd Insurance NV from 1 October 2005. Since January 2003, Frank Blankers has been chairman of OHRA, Delta Lloyd Group's direct writing channel.
Frank Elion (46) has been appointed as chairman of OHRA as of 1 September 2005. Frank Elion is currently chairman of marketing & sales within Delta Lloyd Insurance NV.
Jos Peeters (42) will succeed Frank Elion as chairman of marketing & sales as of 1 September 2005. Jos Peeters has served as director of OHRA Life and OHRA General since October 2002. He will be succeeded in this post on 1 September by OHRA's present director of Health & Income, Martin Duvivier (47). In anticipation of the introduction of the basic health system, Mr Duvivier's duties will be taken over by his fellow Health & Income director, Pierre de Rooij.
Where applicable, appointments are subject to the approval of the relevant consultative bodies and supervisory authorities.
