Morley Fund Management, one of the UK's largest fund managers, has appointed Neil Wesley as an investment analyst in the Equity Research team.
Morley Fund Management (Morley), one of the UK's largest fund managers, has appointed Neil Wesley as an investment analyst in the Equity Research team. Neil joined at the end of 2003 and reports to Sophie Blanpain, head of equity research.
Neil joins from Portfolio Partners, Morley's Australian - based fund management arm. At Portfolio Partners he worked as an Investment Manager and was responsible for listed and non-listed banks and insurance companies. Prior to this, Neil was at UBS where he was responsible for research sales to domestic and international clients.
At Morley Neil's responsibilities will include the luxury goods sector. The Equity Research team at Morley consists of 18 analysts based in London, supporting fund managers managing in the region of Ł30bn of assets.
Commenting on the appointment Sophie Blanpain, head of equity research at Morley, said: "At Morley our aim is to provide a dedicated research function to support our team of fund managers and Neil's experience and expertise as an investment manager and analyst will be a valuable addition to the Global Equity Research team."
