Norwich Union has made changes to the senior management team of its life business following a restructure of the Aviva executive team, which was announced today.
Norwich Union has made changes to the senior management team of its life business following a restructure of the Aviva executive team, which was announced today.
Philip Scott will become Aviva group executive director, life international, taking responsibility for Aviva’s continental European and international life and insurance businesses. Philip will relinquish his current chairmanship of Norwich Union Life. Aviva group chief executive, Richard Harvey, will take up the role of non-executive chairman Norwich Union Life, with Norwich Union Life chief executive, Gary Withers, continuing in his role and reporting directly to him. These changes take effect from 1 July 2003.
Cathryn Riley, currently retail director for Norwich Union Insurance, will become managing director of Norwich Union Healthcare.
David Rogers, currently managing director of Norwich Union Healthcare, will be appointed to a new senior role within the group, which will be announced shortly.
Cathryn Riley and Tidjane Thiam, Aviva’s group strategy and development director, will join the Norwich Union Life board.
