Norwich Union has announced that Graham Boffey is to become the new corporate partnerships director, replacing Derek Plummer who is stepping down.
Norwich Union has announced that Graham Boffey is to become the new corporate partnerships director, replacing Derek Plummer who is stepping down.
Boffey, who is currently the company's director of claims sourcing and supply, will take on his new role on August 1.
Plummer, who corporate partnerships director at the time of the CGNU merger in 2000, will support Boffey in his new role until Plummer leaves the company in September.
Boffey said he is looking forward to taking up the corporate partnerships mantle and developing Norwich Union Insurance’s relationships with some of the UK's top-name brands.
He added: "While we still have some tough challenges, we also have some hugely exciting opportunities and my aim is to build on what Derek has already achieved to take the business forward in line with Norwich Union's strategy and goals."
Plummer, who split his time as corporate partnerships director between the company's Norwich and Perth offices, said he has enjoyed his rewarding and challenging time at Norwich Union.
"I've seen the company grow from its original mutual status to become one of the top PLCs in the UK and I feel privileged to have been part of the management team during that transition."
"I'm confident I’m leaving things in very capable hands and am sure Graham will bring his own style to shaping corporate partnerships' continuing contribution to Norwich Union Insurance's success", he added.
