Morley Fund Management (Morley) has appointed Nick Alford as European Chief Operating Officer (COO). Nick, who will report jointly to John Hughes, Interim Global COO and Gerard Quirke, Managing Director Europe, will focus on delivering the strategy for Morley’s core operations in Europe.
Morley Fund Management (Morley) has appointed Nick Alford as European Chief Operating Officer (COO). Nick, who will report jointly to John Hughes, Interim Global COO and Gerard Quirke, Managing Director Europe, will focus on delivering the strategy for Morley’s core operations in Europe.
Nick joins Morley from Dresdner RCM Global Investors UK where he was Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Dresdner RCM management team. He was responsible for 180 staff within Operations, Investment Technology, Human Resources, Compliance, Legal and Facilities in the UK.
Prior to joining Dresdner RCM in 1998, Nick was Operations Director, European and Offshore Funds Controller for INVESCO Europe.
Before joining INVESCO, Nick spent 16 years in various senior international operational and management roles at LGT Asset Management/GT Global Investment Funds where he was most recently involved with the integration of the INVESCO and GT organisations.
